How to maintain and clean the headphone
2020-04-01

Our clothes are stained with dirt and sweat, need to be cleaned frequently, the same as headphones, and be careful when storing them so they can work like new ones. When we wear headphones, our skin cells, sebum, earwax and facial products stick to areas that touch our ears and faces, and every time we take them off, the sticky headphones pick up more dirt from the world around me, put them down, or put them in a bag. Not only does it keep your headphones clean and comfortable, it also helps them last longer, but you can even keep the headphones sound better in the case of earplugs. Here are some tips on how to clean and maintain your headphones.
Wipe the ear cushions and tips of the headphones regularly with a mixture of wet soap and warm water.
Ideally, you should do it once a week. Make sure that the headphone is turned off. If it is powered on and disconnected from the device. Immediately dry thoroughly with a soft cloth. Do not use alcohol as it can remove color or break down leather or fabric more quickly. As long as you use soap and water, it will clear any malice.
Clean the inside of the earbuds with a small soft brush to remove debris.
Wax build-up eliminates the sound of earbuds. Get a cheap cleaning tool for removing wax (some high-end in-ear models even have one). First, pull the earbuds off the earbuds. Gently scoop out any earwax on the side of the metal ring of the tool. Do not push the ring into the tip while the earring is still on the earbuds, as this may push the wax into the earbuds and damage the drive. Then gently wipe off what is stuck to the earbuds with a small soft brush. Wipe the earbuds with a soapy damp cloth and dry thoroughly, then reattach to the earbuds.
After each workout, wipe the fitness headphone down and dry before charging.
Even if they are waterproof and sweat-resistant, do not keep the headphone moist for long periods of time, as water slowly penetrates into the battery compartment or the earbuds themselves and shortens or damages the drive (Even swimming headphones should be completely dry before they are put in place). Do not allow moisture to enter the earcups or the nozzles of earbuds.
If you need to take your headphones out midway through or can't wait for them to dry completely before leaving the gym, gently shake any excess water, turn off the power, and store them in a small zipper edgy. Do not place earplugs in the pockets of fitness shorts or sports bras without water resistance. Both places collect sweat and do not allow the earbuds to dry at any time. Then when you get home, wipe the earbuds and let them dry as described above.
When not in use, store headphones and earplugs in a bag or case.
This protects them from dirt, scratches and impacts. Use the case you got when you made your purchase, or you can buy it later. Make sure that the case you choose fits your headset.
Do not use or store the headset in extremely hot or cold environments.
The sauna and car trunk sit unsuitable for wearing headphones, especially if your headphones are equipped with batteries. Also, do not store in wet or humid environments for long periods of time, even if they are waterproof. Or, for extra protection, pack Westone Monitor Saver or silicone in a bag (just make sure the gel pack stays away from children and pets).
If your headset is powered on, do not allow the charging port or battery compartment to open while storing.
Even if your headset isn't wet, opening the port will leave dirt and dust. If they don't have a door and they only have one Micro-USB port to charge, dust the port regularly and check the internal water before inserting it.
Do not tie/tie the cable or wrap it around the device when inserting it.
Wounding the headset around the phone when the headset is plugged in bends the cable to a sharp angle to the end of the plug and eventually pulls it out of the case. To wrap the wire correctly, gently wrap around the wire, make a circle with a cable, and follow the natural curve of the wire. To prevent tangles, use a strap on the bread or buy a magic strap.
Be sure to hold the plug or cable end, not the cable itself, and unplug the headset.
Do not unplug or unplug the headset from the device while pulling the cable. It weakens the cable over time. Never pull the earplugs on the cables, especially if they are sealed. The resulting vacuum can cause damage to the ear. Instead, grab the earbuds and gently twist while pulling outwards.
